Content Packages and Additional Services
Working with over 250 institutions and 30 government agency partners on a daily basis has been a fantastic experience but we realise that we need to keep improving how we work and what the service can do. We are continually developing the service to give you further options for tailoring it to your needs, included in your annual subscription.
The core service now comprises:
- Network software & server package
- Annual support & maintenance
- Online management system
- Widget Dock with 6 core widgets (News, Calendar, Favourites, Search, Notes & Calculator)
- Ad Panel and creative library
- Message Bar for interactive news stories and RSS feeds
To give you the most cost effective service possible, we are striving to strike the right balance between the makeup of the core service and additional components that you may require to tailor the service to your goals. With this in mind, we have clarified the additional services that you can purchase over and above the core YB service. These include the following and your account manager can tell you more about them and the special package prices we can offer. We have endeavoured to make them as economical as possible and feedback is always welcome.
- Creative Design
- Website design and hosting (ranging from Micro, Mini, Interactive to a full Bespoke site)
- Widget design and hosting (ranging from information, integration to system applications)
User survey
We will shortly be conducting a user survey across the network of colleges and schools to assess how students feel about and use the service together with what they would like it to do in the future. See the next update for further news on this.
