Lincoln College, Lincolnshire

“Lincoln College has had a very successful relationship with Youth-Bytes during the last academic year…This is a very well received initiative as students have engaged with it from the start and it has enabled us to deliver student-friendly messages to fit the Every Child Matters agenda…Staff at Youth-Bytes have been professional and supportive and provided excellent liaison with our IT Services staff to ensure secure access to our network…

In our OfSTED inspection in January 2007, the Youth-Bytes initiative was praised by inspectors and Lincoln College received a grade 1 (outstanding) for Key Question 4, Support and Guidance for Students. Inspectors praised our overall commitment to Every Child Matters and we were judged at grade 1 for Staying Safe and Being Healthy and at grade 2 for the other ECM themes.

The inspectors were impressed by the standard of evaluation and feedback provided for the college and the DAAT and TPU on a weekly basis showing the viewings and click through rates for each creative. It was easy to prove that students had engaged with the messages and followed links through to campaigns that we had also advertised in more traditional methods through enrolment, induction and Freshers’ Fair.”
